HP Pavilion 23-p110 is a 23 inch modern All in One desktop PC with a functional and responsive Full HD touch display to use with Windows 8.1 apps with great resolution that helps view the finest details, a robust AMD A8 processor The model reviewed on this page is factory certified and refurbished, comes with the original accessories including wireless keyboard and mouse and Quick Start Guide and a 90 day warranty, it is most likely to be no different to brand new with none or very little signs of use (judging by some of the customer reviews).

HP All-in-One 23-p110 has the AMD A series quad core “Beema” A8-6410 accelerated processor (2MB L2 cache) at 2 GHz - 2.4GHz speeds with turbo boost but no hyper threading (it is already 4 cores), 4GB PC3-12800 DDR3L SDRAM at 1600 MHz (upgradeable up to 16GB), spacious 1TB Serial ATA hard drive at 7200 rpm rotating speed (faster than the regular 5400rpm hard drive so you will have a little quicker access to your data and plenty of space for whatever you’d like to save) and Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit OS (Release dates for Windows 10 are confirmed as June and October this year by Microsoft and you can upgrade for free from Windows 7,8 and 8.1 operating systems and we’re hoping it to be better than the current Win 8.1).

23 inch Full HD LED Backlit IPS widescreen 10-point touch enabled display with 1920 x 1080 pixel max screen resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio and up to 178 degree very large viewing angles offers sharp, clear and detailed images, which is also assisted by the AMD Radeon R5 graphics which provides decent video rendering and the ability to play the current 2014/2015 game titles but only at lower settings and resolutions and the older games fluently at higher settings. 23 inch is pretty good size especially for home use- it is neither too big like a 27 inch iMac nor too small like a laptop screen. It has the integrated stereo speakers powered by Realtek ALC3228-CG for immersive audio with high fidelity for playing songs, videos or games and has a front-mounted HP TrueVision HD webcam with 720p resolution for great live chats.

HP Pavilion All-in-One 23-p110 Touchscreen 23 inch Desktop Review
Black HP 23-p110 weighs 18.94 pounds with measurements of 22.05 x 3.23 x 15.91 inches so it is portable in the house as it is an AIO desktop PC- not very heavy but not as lightweight as a 21.5 inch iMac. It comes with a wireless chiclet style keyboard with 10-key numeric pad, Win 8 hot keys and volume control as well as a wireless optical mouse for accurate tracking. Connectivity options include the 802.11bgn for wireless internet, 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet LAN with RJ-45 connector, 2.4 GHz WiFi ensures wireless connection with keyboard and mouse at up 33 feet distance, Slim-tray Multiformat DVD±RW/CD-RW drive with dual layer support, 7-in-1 Media Reader that supports SD, SDHC, SDXC, MS, MS PRO, MS Select and MS MagicGate formats for reading data saved on media cards, 4 x USB 2.0 ports, 2 x USB 3.0 ports for fast data transfer including multimedia and connecting a variety of external peripherals, 1 x headphone jack, 1 x microphone jack, 1 x line-out and 1 x PCI-Express mini slot.

Conclusion: HP Pavilion AIO 23-p110 is offered with decent specs and features of a mid-range system at a reasonably affordable price tag- just think that you won’t have to pay extra for a Full HD IPS touch display and a good quality of webcam and the main reason for that is the item reviewed on this page is factory certified and refurbished looking as good as new. It will free up space and help you avoid clutter on your desk in your room with the only wired connection being the power cord. AMD A8-6410 has a Passmark benchmark score of 2518 on the day of this review and is more than adequate for what most customers would use the computer for and that would be the general daily tasks of surfing the net Microsoft Excel and Word, video streaming etc. and a TDP of 15 watts which means it will be a frugal one in power consumption. Small cons would be that keyboard is not backlit and the WiFi is 802.11bgn and not the 3 times faster 802.11ac and memory is 4GB- could be larger but system supports up to 16GB and is easily upgradeable by the user. It includes 30 day trials of Microsoft Office 365 and McAfee LiveSafe antivirus and CyberLink Suite as well as a 90-day warranty, naturally being a certified refurbished unit. It seems like a very good value for money.
