Baytrail Quad Core Intel Pentium N3510 at 2 GHz speed, 4 GB DDR3L SDRAM to be able to operate several applications simultaneously, a generous 64 GB Solid-State Drive start up quickly and smoother overall functioning .. Bay Trail processor is also faster than the previous Clover Trail, although the battery life on the Pavilion x2 is not like other tablets- it is more like a laptop- around 5-6 hours from its 2-cell 28WHr lithium-ion polymer battery in general use (8 hrs + on Baytrail tablets).

It comes with an 11.6-Inch diagonal HD LED-backlit wide-angle touchscreen display at 1366x768 pixel maximum resolution and Intel HD graphics with about 762MB memory.. So you will certainly get clear text and brilliant picture quality. Same goes for the sound: Integrated speakers and the Beats Audio are engineered for the greatest audio quality you can get on a hybrid PC.

x2 has a proper full keyboard you may not expect on a small 11.6 inch screen detachable and of course you have the choice of using it as a tablet. Windows 8 is pre-installed on it but is also suitable for the newer Windows 8.1. You may visit the HP Support online and follow their instructions for the free installation or simply go to the Microsoft website.

HP Imprint finish with the micro dot design sparkling black HP Pavilion x2 weighs 1.73 lbs and is 0.46 inch thick in tablet mode; 3.28 lbs weight and 0.88" thickness in notebook mode. Connectivity options include 802.11b/g/n WLAN and Bluetooth, 1 x USB 2.0 port, 1 x USB 3.0 port, 1 x Audio-out Port, Built-in media card reader to store and share videos and photos and an HDMI port to connect to your HDTV.

Conclusion: You get more than what you pay for the new HP Pavilion x2 11-h010nr. The only thing that didn't impress us is the 5.5 hour battery life, which is quite good for a laptop but less than the Baytrail processor tablets- fair enough as this is a bigger screen higher performing machine. Other than that, good build quality- feels solid and reliable, runs smoothly and fast, has two good quality webcams, useful connection ports, a proper keyboard and a more affordable price than the other 2-in-1 detachables in the market. Highly recommended if a flexible, light and compact convertible is what you're after.
