Black Lenovo G50 80E3005NUS is a modern, stylish, versatile, functional and affordable 15.6 inch laptop packed with nice features great for daily multimedia apps, streaming videos successfully, playing games- with OK gaming performance such as Skyrim at lower to medium settings with also the improved performance of the A8 processor and the R5 graphics card with 6GB of RAM, and it is adequate for home, work or school use.

Lenovo G50 comes with a quad core AMD A-Series processor A8-6410 at 2.0 GHz, 6 GB DDR3 RAM for decent multitasking, 1024 GB at 5400 rpm rotating speed hard drive as ample storage and Windows 8.1 operating system. It has the OneKey Recovery feature for simple data backup and recovery so you won't have to worry about where to put all your regular and multimedia files. Quad core processor and generous memory enable multitasking with ease. Windows 8.1 will be a learning curve for most people but there is also the more familiar screen without apps and the Start button with slightly different functions.

Glossy 15.6-Inch Active Matrix TFT Color LCD HD widescreen with 16:9 aspect ratio with 1366x768 pixels max screen resolution for sharp and clear visuals. You’ll get full and immersive sound in a way you would not expect from a budget laptop from its stereo speakers along with the Dolby advanced audio certification and a greatly satisfying home entertainment experience. But just don’t expect the screen quality of a FHD display or a wow kind of sound but yes, more than good. Graphics card is the integrated AMD Radeon R5 HD graphics that will let you play the latest games on lower resolutions and the HD webcam with integrated microphone to allow you to enjoy web conferences with colleagues or online video chats like you're really there.

Lenovo G50 15.6-Inch Laptop 80E3005NUS, Black Review
Black Lenovo 80E3005NUS weighs 4.6 pounds with measurements of 10.43 x 0.98 x 15.12 inches- a little less than 1 inch thin and lightweight for portability. Having up to 6 hours of battery life in normal use also helps if you’re no the go. Lenovo Energy Manager helps protect the battery’s durability in the long-run and increase the time spent between charges. Modern island style spacious and comfortable AccuType keyboard with great design for error-free typing, with touchpad that supports multi gestures and optimised for Windows 8.1 to navigate through apps- pinch, swipe, rotate, zoom and others.. Some of its connectivity options are 802.11bgn wireless, 10/100 Ethernet LAN, Bluetooth 4.0, 1 x USB 2.0 port, 2 x USB 3.0 ports with up to 10 times faster data transfers, DVDRW Optical Drive, Veriface Pro – an easy and secure way to login, an HDMI Output for easy connection to a television or other display and a VGA port for older type monitors.

Conclusion: Lenovo G50 80E3005NUS is a decent value notebook PC with modern looks, good performance levels on a day-to-day basis and should be fine at pretty much anything except for the very demanding advanced software- multimedia, editing etc. or the latest 3D games at high resolutions and settings.. Good image and audio quality for a low-cost laptop, works fairly quietly and with stable fan temperature, touchpad is all right in responsiveness but not the best (according to one of the customers), the Radeon R5 is not designed for advanced gaming or multimedia editing. This is a great computer to buy for anyone who isn’t a full-on gamer and will use it mainly for running daily tasks smoothly and efficiently and still want to play games like Skyrim and Minecraft but at lower settings or older titles at higher resolutions. Speakers are located at the bottom so you don’t want to cover it when you’re using the laptop on a couch or bed, which would block the sound.
